Age: -- 25 moons
Rank: Applying for Deputy
Appearance: Many cats describe Raindapple as captivating. She is truly one of a kind with her unique grey tortoiseshell coloring. Her base coat is a pure milky white, that starts from her paws and moves up to her entire body. Dappling her coat is large patches of a grey/brown colouring with white patches in between. Her face on the other hand has a small white mask that covers her chin, mouth, goes between her eyes and settles over her left eye. Brown/grey patches adorn her face as well. Additionally she has two dark patches underneath her light blue eyes, that make them stand out even on the darkest of days. If she is standing in sunlight however, you can notice a faint patch of orange on her right cheek. Her tail is also unique as it's an organe-y color peppered with black splotches. She is built like many other she-cat's in the sense that she is lean and agile, and highlights her strength in running long distance's. Additionally she is on the smaller side, with a small frame.
Personality: Before her days of deputy Raindapple was one for laughter, jokes and adventures. She was bubbly, outgoing, head strong and a little bit rebellious when she was a young warrior (don't ask about the Hare Incident in '13). However, after getting chosen as deputy she has changed her personality in order to silence her doubters. Now she is rather serious, calm and collected, and maintains an organized appearance. She dislikes having chaos in camp and meticilously plans their day to the fine details, wanting only to prove to those around her that she can fill the paw steps of past deputies. Some cats call her cold hearted and to serious, while others remember her as a young warrior and wish that cat would return. However, Raindapple is always there to listen, support and give advice, even if you do not believe she is. When she isn't surrounded by the pressure's and eyes of her clanmates, Raindapple still slips into her old personality every now and then. If you are close enough to her she will reward you with a true genuine laugh, a smile and a good romp around the terrain. She is extremely loyal to the warrior code and wouldn't even think about breaking it.
Grew up in a litter with her two brother's and one sister. They got along rather well, and their upbringing in the nursery went without a hitch.
Rainpaw was given her apprentice name at the same time as her brother's and sister. The young she-cat was apprenticed to the cruel-hearted tom Smoketail, who would often force her to do long and tortuous training sessions. During this time she grew quiet and reserved from the cat's around her, and her brother Quillpaw took notice. About halfway through her training Quillpaw confronted Smoketail after a particularly brutal fighting practice and the two tom's got into an argument. Unfortunately, Smoketail was run off by Quillpaw and headed straight into a trap set up for small prey. He quickly died, leaving a shocked Rainpaw and smug Quillpaw. Upon returning to camp Quillpaw was questioned and found not guilty, while Rainpaw was assigned to a new mentor who she grew instantly attached to. His name was Redheart. This tom quickly undid the training Smoketail had instilled in her, and soon the two grew extremely close (to close for Rainpaw). Right before her warrior name, Redheart passed away from an old battle wound that had gotten infected, which devastated the young she-cat for many moons.
Raindapple remained close with her brother's and sister, especially Quillflight after their warrior ceremonies. It did take several moons to pass before she returned to her usual self, and she quickly enveloped herself in her warrior duties, wanting to prove Smoketail wrong and keep Redheart's legacy alive. It came to a surprise to her when she was announced as clan deputy, and she is still trying to adjust to her new role
Brothers: Quillflight and Cinderfang
