Rosepaw sat at the edge of camp, munching quietly on a young rabbit. She could tell by how thin the blood was, and the soft meat. It hadn't fully grown yet. The tabby licked the food off her lips, and perked her ears. Not many cats were in camp today. Most were probably out, hunting or patrolling the border. Not many cats had the time to just sit and talk.

Snowbird was laying in the sun, her belly facing the leaf-bare sun. She twisted her head and spotted Rosepaw. "Hey Rosepaw, where's Icefall?" She mewed, moving her body to face the young apprentice, "I thought he was always with you." She wasn't teasing at all, for her eyes shone with curiosity even though she knew Rosepaw wouldn't be able to tell.

Rosepaw turned her head towards Snowbird, trying to make herself look interested in what her niece was saying. It was hard, when she couldn't see anyone else's expression. The ginger tabby shrugged. "Not sure." she mewed, taking another bite out of her meal. "I went exploring with him yesterday, but I haven't seen him since."
